According to the findings of a retrospective analysis, the use of adjuvant chemotherapy (AC) after radical cystectomy is of benefit to patients with high-risk bladder cancer.
The authors note that there is evidence to suggest a survival advantage with AC following radical cystectomy; however limited conclusions can be drawn from this due to methodological issues and small sample sizes.
